The New Orleans Saints added a flourish to their practice fields for the team's mandatory minicamp this week in remembrance of their late owner, Tom Benson, who died in March.

Benson's initials, T.B., are painted at midfield on both of the team's practice fields.

The front office came up with the gesture in the last week or so, implementing it in time for the public to see its first practices of the year.

"Somewhere between the OTA's, Mickey (Loomis) and I, Mrs. B (Gayle Benson) were talking about putting something on the field," Saints coach Sean Payton said.

New Orleans will likely also roll out more ways to honor the owner once the regular season rolls around.

"There will be something, I'm sure, during the season, on the jersey or helmet," Payton said.
