Yardley Car festival

EDITOR'S NOTE: Due to the weather forecast for Sunday, April 15 the car show has been postponed to Sunday, April 22 at the same time and place.

YARDLEY BOROUGH >> A free family-oriented Car Festival will steer onto FitzGerald Field, 17 North Delaware Avenue, on Sunday, April 22 from noon until 5 p.m. after cold and wet weather forced the postponement of the event from April 15.

Organized by the Morrisville-Yardley Rotary Club, the festival will offer something for everyone, from an opportunity to see and talk with car clubs and new car dealers showing their representative vehicles, to learning about businesses that offer car-related products and services, to talking with private vintage car owners, to safety discussions with local police, fire and emergency squads, to car-related games and activities for children.

There will be door prizes, a DJ and the famous Rotary Food Tent. And an added bonus will be a Road Rally from 2 to 4 p.m. with prizes for the winner and runner-up.

The Rotary will use proceeds from the event to support its community service projects. See MYCarFestival.org for more information and online registration for the Road Rally or call 215-498-6725.
