POLICE LIGHTS

The following information is provided by the Lower Makefield Police Department:

ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE >> Ridge Avenue reported at 4:59 p.m. on March 28. Complainant reported on March 27 an unknown man attempted to enter their vehicle. Upon noticing a surveillance camera, he removed it from the tree and discarded it in the bushes.

THEFT >> 600 block of Tomlinson Lane reported at 8:26 p.m. on March 28. Complainant reported theft of jewelry and dolls possibly by moving company.

DUI ARREST >> Interstate 295 and Taylorsville Road on March 28. Police on patrol observed a disabled vehicle at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 22 year old man from Parkside for Driving Under the Influence.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD >> 200 block of Cinnabar Lane reported at 12 p.m. on March 27. Complainant reported unauthorized use of the credit card in the amount of $369.70.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Shop Rite reported at 3:29 p.m. on March 27. Police responded to the report of a disorderly subject in the parking lot. Further investigation led to a 20 year old woman from Fairless Hills being cited for Disorderly Conduct for spitting on another driver’s vehicle.

FRAUD >> 1500 block of Hummingbird Court reported at 11:16 a.m. on March 26. Complainant reported that $2,100 was removed from their bank via Venmo.

THEFT >> Lavender Drive reported at 1:59 p.m. on March 26. Complainant reported theft of pipes, fittings, and heating and cooling materials from the construction site.

DRUG ARREST >> 500 block of Kings Road reported at 10:02 p.m. on March 26. Police responded to the report of a medical call at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 56 year old man from Lower Makefield for possession of PCP.

ACCIDENT & DUI ARREST >> 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Carlucci’s reported at 12:22 p.m. on March 25. Police responded to the report of a one vehicle accident into the building. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 22 year old male driver from Trenton for Driving Under the Influence.

ACCIDENT AND ARREST >> Route 332 and I-295 reported at 5:06 p.m. on March 25 Police responded to the report of a six vehicle accident at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 61 year old man from Trenton, NJ.

FRAUD >> 800 block of Mirror Lake Road reported at 3:33 p.m. on March 25. Complainant reported purchasing a car on Ebay. Victim sent $17,000 via wire transfer but did not receive the car.

THEFT >> 600 block of Township Line Road at Spring Village reported at 1:14 p.m. on March 25. Complainant reported theft of $400.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY >> 500 block of Barn Drive reported at 10:30 a.m. on March 24. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) attempted to enter a locked shed. Nothing reported missing at this time.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD >> Vernon Lane reported at 9:38 p.m. on March 24. Complainant reported unauthorized use of the credit card in the amount of $497.87. Victim appears to have been pick-pocketed after a fall at Giant Food Store.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >> Raab Drive reported at 10:30 p.m. on March 24. Complainant reported residence has been egged on three separate occasions.

THEFT >> Lavender Drive reported at 8:25 a.m. on March 24. Complainant reported theft of nineteen rolls of DuPont Tyvek house wrap from the construction site.

RETAIL THEFT >> 600 block of Heacock Rd. at McCaffrey’s Market reported at 10 a.m. on March 24. Loss Prevention reported a known woman entered the store, went to the butcher and requested three racks of lamb. She then exited the store without paying. On the same day, she did the same thing at McCaffrey’s in Newtown and Princeton, N.J. A warrant was issued for the 57 year old woman from Langhorne.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Kohl’s Department Store reported at 3:03 p.m. on March 24. Loss Prevention reported two unknown women entered the store, selected $231 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. A license plate used in the incident was obtained. A criminal complaint was issued for a 27 year old woman from Trenton, N.J.

FRAUD >> 600 block of Briarwood Court reported at 2:05 p.m. on March 24. Complainant reported unknown person(s) put a utility bill in their name for a Detroit, Michigan address.

DUI ARREST >> Big Oak Road and Oakview Drive reported at 10:50 p.m. on March 24. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 48 year old male driver from Lower Makefield for Driving Under the Influence.
