POLICE LIGHTS

The following information is provided by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department:

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 9:10 a.m. on May 16. Loss Prevention detained a 38 year old female from Morrisville, PA for taking $94.47 worth of merchandise without paying. She was cited for Retail Theft.

RETAIL THEFT >> 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. at CVS reported at 11:49 a.m. on May 15. Loss Prevention reported two unknown females entered the store and removed cosmetic item without paying.

ACCIDENT AND DUI ARREST >> 1400 block of Dolington Rd. reported at 4:52 p.m. on May 15. Police responded to the report of a one vehicle accident into a tree. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 27 year old male driver for Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >> 1200 block of Knox Dr. reported at 9:59 p.m. on May 15. Complainant reported damage to mailbox.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 3:10 p.m. on May 14. Loss Prevention reported an unknown male removed $29.86 worth of merchandise without paying on April 28. Further investigation revealed the identity of the 46 year old man from Lower Makefield who will be cited for Retail Theft.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 3:10 p.m. on May 14. Loss Prevention reported an unknown female removed $730.82 worth of merchandise without paying on May 7.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 2 p.m. Loss Prevention reported retail theft in progress. Police arrested a 37 year old man from Bristol for Felony Retail Theft, Felony Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Crystal Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 2 p.m. on May 14. Loss Prevention reported retail theft in progress. Police arrested a 37 year old man from Bristol for Felony Retail Theft, Felony Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Crystal Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

FRAUD >> 500 block of Saxony Dr. reported at 6:37 p.m. on May 13. Complainant reported unknown person(s) attempted to use their credit card airline points to purchase airline tickets.

FRAUD >> 400 block of Floral Vale Blvd. reported at 5:38 p.m. on May 13. Complainant reported receiving calls from unknown numbers stating they were late on their PECO bill.

THEFT >> 300 block of Oxford Valley Rd. at Yardley Cardiology reported at 11:10 a.m. on May 12. Complainant reported theft of a safe sometime after May 1.

IDENTITY THEFT >> 400 block of Palmer Farm Dr. reported at 9:21 p.m. on May 11. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened credit cards in their name.

FRAUD ARREST >> 400 block of Stony Hill Rd. reported at 10 a.m. on May 11. Postal inspectors advised police of a possible theft of mail that would occur at the noted location. While conducting surveillance, the suspect vehicle was seen removing mail and fleeing the scene. Police stopped the vehicle and a 28 year old woman and a 31 year old man from Miami, Florida, were taken into police custody. They were charged with Access Device Fraud, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Identity Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property. They were arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000/10 percent bail.

FRAUD >> 1400 block of Scarlet Oak Rd. reported at 11:30 a.m. on May 10. Complainant reported unknown person(s) accessed their bank account and transferred $14,850 to banks in Texas and California.
