RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 3:18 p.m. on June 12. Loss Prevention reported on June 11 that an unknown man entered the store and removed $460.04 worth of merchandise without paying.

SOLICITORS >> 1500 block of Revere Rd. reported at 4:24 p.m. on June 12. Complainant reported solicitor for Greenstar Exterior Windows soliciting without permits. The man was advised to cease soliciting until permits were obtained.

THEFT >> 1000 block of Edgewood Rd. reported at 11 a.m. on June 11. Complainant reported theft of a wallet from a bench while playing basketball.

DRUG ARREST >> 1500 block of Big Oak Rd. reported at 12:30 p.m. on June 11. Police on patrol observed a vehicle with expired registration and was emanating an odor of marijuana. When the driver of the vehicle returned, a traffic stop was initiated. Further investigation led to the discovery of a marijuana vape pen, a pipe with marijuana residue and several unknown pills. The 24 year old man from Warminster will be charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

DRUG ARREST >> 1000 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Hampton Inn reported at 11:13 p.m. on June 11. Police on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Further investigation led to the discovery of 6-7 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The 40 year old man from Halifax was taken into police custody. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to deliver. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000/10 percent bail.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 2:29 p.m. on June 11. Loss Prevention detained a 46 year old woman from Philadelphia for taking $103.52 worth of merchandise without paying. She was taken into police custody.

SOLICITORS >> Lower Hilltop Rd. reported at 6:54 p.m. on June 11. Complainant reported solicitor wearing a “Greenstar” polo shirt soliciting without a permit.

FRAUD >> W. Ferry Rd. reported at 10:24 a.m. on June 10. Complainant reported falling victim to the PECO scam and sent $790 to an unknown person.

FRAUD >> 9100 block of Sheffield Rd. reported at 2:34 p.m. on June 10. Complainant reported receiving a call from Comcast attempting to schedule an appointment because they had a weak signal. The complainant called Comcast who denied making the call. Further investigation revealed it was, in fact, a Comcast employee calling to service a weak signal.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 4:37 p.m. on June 10. Loss Prevention reported an unknown female entered the store and removed $249.18 worth of merchandise without paying.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 8:29 a.m. on June 7. Loss Prevention detained a 57 year old man from Lower Makefield for taking $2.99 worth of merchandise without paying. It was discovered he failed to scan an item. Further investigation revealed that in April, the same man selected six packages of lamb chops but only scanned five packages, depriving the store of $21.32 worth of merchandise.

FRAUD >> 1000 block of Princeton Dr. reported at 2:51 p.m. on June 7. Complainant reported giving their social security number to someone before realizing it was a scam.

RETAIL THEFT >> 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 1:13 p.m. on June 6. Loss Prevention detained a 47 year old woman from Newtown for taking $87.97 worth of merchandise without paying. Further investigation revealed the same woman committed a retail theft in April 2019, removing $142.44 worth of merchandise without paying and removing $409 worth of merchandise without paying in August 2017. She was taken into police custody.

DRUG ARREST >> 100 block of N. Elbow Lane reported at 6:20 p.m. on June 6. Police responded to the report of a man laying on the grass. Further investigation led to the discovery of heroin and drug paraphernalia. The 31 year old man from Lower Makefield was taken into police custody and charged with public drunkenness and possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $20,000/10 percent bail.
