BRISTOL BOROUGH >> A man was shot multiple times on the sidewalk Monday night, April 30 in the 300 block of Penn Street.
Police said the victim - a 19 year old Croydon man - was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by Bucks County EMS with multiple gun shot wounds. At last report the victim was listed in stable condition.
Several vehicles on the street were also hit by gunfire, which erupted around 9 p.m. An investigation by police revealed that the victim was visiting on Penn Street when he was shot.
The suspects are described as two tall thin black males who were last seen fleeing on foot toward Pond Street. Police said the shooting does not appear to be a random act.
Assisting at the scene were Bristol Township Police, Tullytown Police and Bristol Borough Fire Police. The investigation is being conducted by Bristol Borough Police anyd the Bucks County Detectives. Also assisting was the Bensalem Police K9 Unit.
