NEWTOWN BOROUGH >> The Newtown Presbyterian Church serves its annual chili luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the church, 25 North Chancellor Street, Newtown.
Church members will be serving chili (meat or vegetarian), cornbread, salad, dessert and beverage. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for ages three and under. Take out orders will be available.
In addition, the Presbyterian Women will sponsor their annual cookie sale and the Eternal Quilters Group will raffle off a beautiful handmade quilt in the Grandmothers Garden pattern.
