YARDLEY BOROUGH >> The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of Appletini Photography and Remedy Personal Training on Saturday, September 8 with a ribbon cutting at 12 p.m. followed by a multi-business Block Party and Open House from Noon to 6 p.m. at 45 East Afton as part of Yardley’s monthly 2nd Saturday event.

After the ribbon cutting with Borough Councilwoman Caroline Thompson, Experience Yardley Treasurer, Sharon Dachino, and the Yardley Business Association, all of the businesses at 45 East Afton - Kazmore Hair Studio, Scarlet Lash Studio, Appletini Photography, Open Heart Counselling Center, and Remedy Personal Training - will be joining to offer free fun kids activities, snacks and drinks, and even raffle prizes as a way to connect with the greater Yardley community.

Catherine Romero, owner of REMEDY Personal Training and former co-owner of Yardley Fitness, is happy to be back in the Borough with her latest venture.

“REMEDY is a unique personal training studio that focuses on healing, restoration and balance. After being in the fitness industry for 25 years, I created REMEDY to make a difference in people’s lives through personalized training sessions in a body-positive, stress-free environment.” Catherine added, “Yardley is the perfect location for helping my clients reach their goals.”

Tiffany Wichert chose to open a location in Yardley this June because it “was close to home and special to our clients. We love the small town feel and beautiful scenic backdrop that Yardley provides for our portraits. We’ve been part of the community for the past five years, and have been and remain big supporters of

Canal-O-Ween, where we give away free prints of all of the folks who come to carve pumpkins!” In terms of the studio itself, from maternity to newborn to annual family portraits, Appletini Photography specializes in capturing the love and joy of growing families. “Our goal, noted Tiffany, “is for each family to walk away with a great experience, images delivered in a timely manner, a set of 4×6 prints, a piece of wall art, digital files and a small collection posted online for sharing with friends and family. Our approach to photography is to take our time and invest in relationship building with our clients – adults and kids! These images are a part of your family history and we take that responsibility seriously.”

“The other businesses at 45 East Afton have been part of the Borough for a while and, like their newest neighbors, appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the community at large and especially within the quaint and vibrant downtown,” remarked Yardley Borough Councilwoman Caroline Thompson.

“The group of businesses at 45 East Afton serve as a key part of our downtown’s wellness and personal services niche,” noted longtime fellow downtown Yardley business owner (O So Inviting) and Treasurer of Experience Yardley, Sharon Dachino. “It’s wonderful to see them working together for this Block Party and combining it with the downtown’s 2nd Saturday event.”

“As the owner of Scarlet Lash Studio,” said, Scarlet Gordon , my goal is to help my clients boost their confidence by enhancing the beauty of their eyes with my lash services. There is no denying that lashes make a great difference and when you look good you feel good!”

Owner Lora Kaczor of Kazmore Hair Studio, offers “a quaint and relaxing hair salon providing haircuts, hair color, dimensional color, keritan treatments and hair extensions with personal service.”

Greg Rossi, owner of Open Heart Counseling Center, provides nurturing and professional care in the service of personal well-being for individuals, families, and couples. “I seek to help clients alleviate anxiety and depression, resolve substance abuse/dependence and other compulsive behaviors, manage anger and stress, and work through grief/loss issues,” noted Greg.

The ribbon cutting to celebrate the two grand openings and the Block Party and Open House are free and open to the public. People are encouraged to drop in to learn and enjoy anytime between 12 and 6 p.m.
